PAZ on Ubuntu 10.04 - Problem

The boxed version of PAZ installs on Ubuntu 10.04 but doesn't run properly. Upgrading to the Feb 2010 version sorts this out EXCEPT THAT TRYING TO DO ANYTHING ON THE DATABASE TAB CAUSES AN INFINITE LOOP AND NO RESPONSE. Has anyone else had this problem?

Replying to my own post, it was a corrupt data file that caused the problem but it's still quite slow to update anything in the Database tab. What's typed doesn't appear instantly but a few seconds later.
