Completely new to Paz, in the process of migrating my accounts, manually, from a very old version of Quicken, brought about by my desire to change from Win. XP Home to Win. 7 Home Premium on a new PC., my old Quicken will not run on Win. 64 bit system.
My Paz version is V.1.9.12.2, current latest I believe and my op. system is Win. 7 Home premium as already stated.
One issue I can`t understand, may well be Win. 7 related.
With the program running, my data file path at the top of the screen shows, C:\Program Files(x86)\Personal Accountz\******.azh, default file path as would be expected.
I have chosen "save on exit" and "backup on exit" options.
The data appears, from the information boxes on exit, to save & backup as requested.
However, I can not find the data file listed in the expected directory, or anywhere else, using Win. explorer ?
Searching for the file within Windows produces zero results ?
I have changed my Windows view option to "show all files", still won`t list.
The C: drive associated backup directory appears to be empty also.
Obviously must be there as the program opens, runs and closes out perfectly !
If I now save by file to a USB memory pen, using the file, "save as" option, I can list the data file and all associated backup files in the area where I stored same with Win. explorer as would be expected.
Anyone any ideas, Win. 7 or program issue or more likely am I just mis-understanding something ?
